Captain’s Log 16 (It’s Been A Long Day)
I haven’t had solid food since my surgery yesterday. My mouth is huge. The empty spots where my wisdom teeth once reside are swollen enough to park a small car in them. All I want for New Years is a huge hamburger
Moving on,
I decided to paint my laptop today. Spur of the moment kinda-thing. I’m sitting up here on vacation with my parents and suddenly decide I want a bright yellow laptop. Bright yellow. Off to the store I go I pick up plastic paint and primer, as well as the usual 1000+ grit sandpaper, etc. My girlfriend thinks I’m nuts and it is because of the pain killers I’m on. I think she is nuts and who wouldn’t want a bright yellow laptop? (I’m wishing I chose red now).
Another cool thing I discovered was a work around for using Google Mail + Outlook while having AVG act as the proxy. I’ll post the details tomorrow once I get my laptop completed and reassembled.
