Captain’s Log 40 (God Inspired Thought)
I decided that I would share this God inspired verse with whomever reads this:
“If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.” — James 1:26
Donald S. Whitney in his book Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life writes “Learning to keep silent for extended periods of time can help us control our tongue all the time.”
