Aimpoint Sights: COMPML3


I have been looking for sights for my (hopefully) M4 Carbine and heard that Aimpoint was one of the best. The Aimpoint COMPML3 caught my attention especially when it came to the red dot intensity.

  • Switch, dot brightness
    10 settings – Off, 9 Daylight of which 1 Extra Bright
    and battery life

  • Battery Life, typical
    50,000 hours at setting 7 out of 10, CompM3 = 500,000 hours at NVD setting

    I think I am going to go with the COMPML3 unless somebody can recommend a different sight. Of course, I can’t get the COMPML3 until I get an M4 Carbine so this would be my next purchase. Maybe somebody out there wants to sell one of theirs???
