Blackberry 8700c 4.2 OS Media Manager
Wow! I am really rockin with the Media Manager for Blackberry 8700c 4.2. So far so good!
When you first plug in the Blackberry 8700c, on the desktop manager, select Media Manager and in all honestly it is self explanatory from there, just enter your password (if password protected) and off you go.

It took me about 30 seconds to figure out what I was doing. After that I started uploading some of my MP3s to my phone for use as ringtones and alarm tones. I also uploaded my background on my laptop to my phone. It is VERY easy.
The built in media-conversion tool, which you are prompted with when you start a transfer, works pretty well with keeping quality/size.

There are a few drawbacks however. When I started to upload more than one MP3 or image at a time things got REALLY slow. I also had media manger crash a few times, but I don’t know if it is related to the BlackBerry or because I’m running Windows Blinds.
Lastly, and this is somewhat important, when the File Transfer window is 100 percent complete, it really isn’t complete. It takes about 30 seconds to wrap up whatever it is doing. I’ve noticed this after I tried to start using my phone after the transfer window displayed a full transfer bar. My phone was SLOW, 30 seconds later it worked fine.
All in all I am VERY impressed with the 8700c, the fact that I could put a different Operating System on it, and tweak the heck out of it!
PS: Head on over to RogersMJ.com to download two new themes for your 8700c. Just use the Application Loader on the Desktop Manager (and pick the large fonts theme unless you want to lose all eyesight in a year
